The only issue that I have with this game is the music. It’s played too loud, and has no variation on the beats. I understand that you can turn down the music and that it’s supposed to use some of that free memory to play, but it’s still incredibly distracting.

The story is really interesting, the art work is fun, and the gameplay is entertaining. I wanted to like the game a lot more than I did. It’s quite challenging, and it makes it feel like a long adventure. The story is pretty good, and the villains are interesting, but the game overall just falls short.

It doesn’t matter how much the premise is based off of Gilbert’s book – the gameplay is terrible. Don’t get me wrong, the graphics, backgrounds, and music are amazing. If those two things didn’t suck, I’d be very happy. But they do. The combat is just as disappointing as it was in Vooju: The Curse of Monkey Island. Walking is slow, and moving things is awkward. You walk around blindly and hope you hit something because your camera is stuck on the ground. It’s only once you reach higher platforms that you realize that it’s you who’s just on the ground and not the mini-kart you’re driving.
